The annual Festival of Trees is held on the first Saturday of December. The day event, from 10am - 2 pm features free family activities including viewing of over 30 creatively decorated trees, children's activities, a hospitality table, live entertainment, and visits with Santa.
The evening Gala Event & Auction, from 5pm - 9pm is a more formal,
ticketed event. The Gala features an honoree ceremony acknowledging our community members who have passed, a Silent Auction and raffles, live entertainment, and refreshments. The evening culminates with the exciting live auction of the beautifully decorated trees. These trees have been designed and decorated by teams of community members at their own expense and reflect a wide variety of holiday themes.
The funds raised at the Festival makes it possible to provide services to terminally ill people and their families not covered by Medicare or private insurance including bereavement counseling, the Transitions program for people with life-limiting illnesses, caregiver support, and Camp Sunrise, a grief camp for children.
